Pump it up : a playlist for making exercise feel less soul-sucking

Every January, a massive albeit fleeting influx of people descend upon gyms worldwide to satiate a sudden inner drive they’ve acquired from the tradition of making (generally empty) New Years resolutions. But once February rolls around, these masses start petering out, leaving those of us who’d been there all along breathing a hefty sigh of relief at finally not having to wait 20 minutes to use every single piece of equipment. If I’m honest, though, the only thing that really pulls me through the workout malaise is a set of great tunes. So to those of you who need a little boost, I’d like to pass on my trusty workout playlist, in an effort to help you continue fulfilling that seemingly long-lost promise you’ve made to yourself. Here’s to counting yourself among “those who stayed…”
